Optimization of large gear measurements

For large gears do not currently have appropriate standards that allow the traceability of the test processes to the SI unit "meter" with sufficient accuracy. In cooperation with the PTB the BIMAQ is therefore involved in the development of large teeth normal with diameters of 2000 mm and more.

Furthermore, the BIMAQ analyzes the cause-effect relationships between Zahnradfertigung, geometry deviations and occurring transmission damage. In the field of quality inspection of gears also algorithms are being developed in order to evaluate surface measurement data.
