Hydrogen for Bremen's industrial transformation
So far, studies on the ratio of the regenerative potential with respect to H2-electrolysis have been carried out on a very coarse resolution and with some assumptions. The hyBit project offers the possibility to describe the regenerative potential for a region based on measurement data. Within the framework of the hybit - collect project, a measurement infrastructure is being set up that collects measurement data on wind speed, global radiation, humidity, etc. at various locations in the Bremen region. This results in the energy weather, which describes the potential of regenerative energy sources. Furthermore, the data collection of the meteorological values together with the feed-in and load time series of the individual districts will enable a measurement-based prediction of the residual load. This enables realistic planning of future energy supply for green hydrogen.
